This is the world you know. Start with a point. It touches no one. It knows nothing.
	From the point comes the line and the plane. It has movement but no life.
	After the plane comes the world of depth. It is almost our world, but it knows no change.
	The fourth dimension is movement and change. It is your world. It is the thermodynamic miracle. Some people think the fourth dimension is the sum of our world. They are wrong.
	Here is the fifth dimension: It is a sensitive, self-modifying system that lies just above our world of time and change. We cannot perceive it with our crude senses of sight and touch, but we can interact with it though form and symbol.

You ask yourself, how can we know of this higher dimension if it is above our sense of depth, or time, or change? The barrier between the fourth dimension and the fifth is getting weaker. The world's veins of copper wire bind everyone together. Our air is saturated with radio waves. Our world pulses with information, information, information. The membrane between the 4th and 5th dimensions has become very thin. So thin, in fact, that we have found soft places in the world.
