Hello everyone. Several intrepid individuals dived into RUMI and released Eva from her bondage and prepared to send the four symboliques home. The four symboliques decided to stay and trap ‘Edward’ when he returned. They presented Eva, and our assistants with a choice. They could take Edward with them, in effect killing him, or they could merge his free-floating soul with an existing person.
After some deliberation, the helpers decided that they would connect Edward’s soul to his brother Tom, who has been speaking to us through the divination board. The symboliques did so, and that seems to have, ah, ‘fixed’ Tom. He speaks normally now, and is seemingly lucid. Still, we think it best if he seek out some psychiatric care.
The professor came out of his coma, but is still very weak. We have discussed wether or not we are going to continue research into the fifth dimension, but have come to no conclusion. One thing we agree on is the need for more exacting safety protocols and research methods.
From what I hear, Raphael and Eva are working on patching up their differences. It is possible that he will retire from our specific brand of research.
